Responsible Gambling

At GoldMineExpress.com, responsible gambling is a core value. Gambling is intended to be an entertaining leisure activity — for the vast majority of people it stays that way. However, for some individuals gambling can become harmful. This page provides guidance and resources.

Know the Risks

Every casino game, including Gold Mine Express, is designed with a house edge or theoretical RTP that ensures the operator makes a profit over millions of spins. Even a 97% RTP means the game retains 3% of all money wagered over time. There is no strategy that guarantees profit.

Signs of Problem Gambling

• Spending more money or time gambling than intended
• Chasing losses — betting more to win back previous losses
• Gambling affecting work, relationships or finances
• Lying to family or friends about gambling activity
• Using gambling to escape stress, anxiety or depression
• Borrowing money or selling possessions to fund gambling

Self-Help Tools

Most licensed Australian online casinos offer the following tools — use them proactively:

• Deposit limits – set a daily, weekly or monthly cap on deposits
• Session limits – limit the duration of each gambling session
• Loss limits – stop play once a pre-set loss amount is reached
• Self-exclusion (GAMSTOP equivalent) – exclude yourself from one or multiple platforms
• Reality checks – timed pop-up reminders during play
